Auch bei Kim Raver sagte man, man wird sie sicher wieder einbringen.. sie kann ja an zwei Serien gleichzeitig arbeiten.. aber, bis dato durfte das noch kein Schauspieler bei 24. Hast du nen neuen Vertrag, wirst du meist in nem Gastauftritt gekillt (siehe David Palmer)

Rena Sofer macht aber auch Heroes und 24, Peter MacNicol macht Numb3rs und 24 (okay, bei Numb3rs macht er gerade eine Pause, aber trotzdem). Für eine kleine Rolle pro Season geht das schon. Und das würde zur Not bei Kim auch reichen. Nur nicht dauernd neue Freundinnen in die Story stricken. Das wird nämlich auf die Dauer öde.

na ja, Rena Sofer ist ja nur ein Gaststar.. das ist natürlich was anderes. und Peter McNicol wurde ja von numbers weg gecastet.. ist dort also in seiner 24 Zeit gar nicht zu sehen.

Ich weiß überhaupt nicht, warum ihr alle eine Freundin für Jack Bauer wollt. Ich will, dass der irgendwelche Leute abknallt und nicht im Beziehungsstress steckt.

Für Kim Raver ist eine Rolle in 24 doch auch recht uninteressant, da sie wohl was eigenes will und nicht nur einen sicheren Job. Das kann man immernoch machen, wenn man nicht mehr so gefragt ist.

I'M WITH STUPID (NBC) - Kevin Daniels ("Smallville"), Christopher Thornton ("Alias") and Darryl "Chill" Mitchell ("Ed") have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about a down-and-out guy (Daniels) who befriends a wheelchair-bound young man (Thornton) and winds up moving into his assisted living facility. Daniels and Thornton will play said lead roles - Sheldon and Paul, respectively - while Mitchell is set as Syd, a cool and charismatic paraplegic.

PAIGE ARMSTRONG (A.K.A. CAPITAL CITY) (The CW) - The netlet has given a pilot presentation order to its revived version of the 2004 ABC pilot "Capital City." Now dubbed "Paige Armstrong," the project revolves around a naive but incredibly bright 27-year-old female congressional aide who becomes so infuriated by her boss' political maneuvering that she decides to run against him. Lurie penned the script and will direct the presentation as well as executive produce alongside his producing partner Marc Frydman and DreamWorks Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.

PLAYING CHICKEN (FOX) - Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz has snagged one of the lead roles in the comedy pilot, about Jake (Butz), a loudmouthed conservative, and his brother Tim, an intellectual lefty, who are forced to live together after an accident leaves Jake wheelchair-bound.

PROTECT & SERVE (CBS) - Eric Balfour ("24") has been tapped for the lead role in the pilot, a drama which follows the lives of street cops in suburban Los Angeles. He'll play one of them, an intense and emotional police officer.

SUPREME COURTSHIPS (FOX) - Leslie Odom, Jr. is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about the personal and professional lives of six Supreme Court clerks and their supervisors. He'll play of said clerks in the project.

SWINGTOWN (CBS) - Jack Davenport ("Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest") and Grant Show ("Dirt") are the first to sign onto the pilot, a period drama about married couples in 1970s suburbia who explore partner-swapping and open marriages. Show will play Tom Decker, a handsome airplane pilot who has an open marriage with his wife, while Davenport is set as Bruce Miller, a successful businessman happily married to his high school sweetheart.

UNTITLED DAVID SHORE/PETER BLAKE PROJECT (NBC) - "24" alums Xander Berkeley and Sarah Clarke have joined the cast of the pilot, an ensemble dramedy about police officers with a female cop (Famke Janssen) at the center.

Interessant, dass The CW überlegt Capital City zu reanimieren. Den Pilot fand ich damals ganz nett, die Besetzung wird diesmal aber bestimmt schwächer.

Kyle Chandler und Tom Berenger wird man wohl nicht bekommen können.

"Pit," from Sony Pictures TV and Apostle, is a drama with comedic elements set at one of the worst police precincts in Brooklyn, N.Y. Koteas will play a famous veteran cop who operates as if the precinct were his own private fiefdom. Koteas (UTA, Kipperman Management) next will be seen in the features "Zodiac" and "Shooter."

"Judy," from ABC TV Studio, centers on Judy (Louise Lombard), a suburban woman who balances being a single mother with being a detective investigating suburban crimes. Lanter, who has recurred on CBS' "Shark" and NBC's "Heroes," will play an undercover narc posing as a high schooler.

John Francis Daley has been cast in the ABC/20th TV comedy "The Call," about a team of unconventional paramedics who save people's lives while screwing up each other's. Daley, who has co-starred on such series as Fox's "Kitchen Confidential," ABC's "The Geena Davis Show" and NBC's "Freaks and Geeks," will play a naive trainee with zero practical experience.

Ramon Rodriguez has joined the Fox/20th TV drama "Philadelphia General," a comedic drama about a team of nurses. He will play a confident and handsome male nurse. Rodriguez's series credits include ABC's "Day Break" and HBO's "The Wire."

Yvonne Strzechowski has been tapped to co-star in the NBC/Warner Bros. TV drama "Chuck," about a nerdy computer tech (Zachary Levi) who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Australian-born Strezechowski (McKeon-Myones Management, Australia's Sue Barnett & Assoc.) will play the CIA agent assigned to his case.

Margulies will play a brash defense attorney who contends with challenges both in the courtroom and at home. Ben Shenkman also stars in the pilot from Sony Pictures TV and Denis Leary's Apostle Films. Mike Figgis is directing. Exec producers are Denis Leary, Jim Serpico and Dave Erickson. Margulies will also serve as a producer on the project.

Thesp recently starred in the TNT limited series "The Grid." Her feature credits include "Snakes on a Plane." She won an Emmy for her work as nurse Carol Hathaway on "ER," a role she played for six seasons. She reportedly turned down a two-season contract extension worth about $27 million to stay at "ER," which at the time would have made her the highest-paid female actor in TV history. She's had a recurring role in the final season of HBO's "The Sopranos" but hasn't had a regular series gig since "ER" and has turned down numerous offers.

Jo, da hat mak mich natürlich missverstanden. Shark hat ja gar nicht so schlechte Quoten. Absetzen sollte man es aber trotzdem, weil es einfach schlecht und nur dank James Woods ein gewisses Maß an Qualität hat.

Ich frage mich warum diese Serie überhaupt noch auf Sendung ist. Ich mag zwar Michael Rapaport, aber die Serie ist wirklich ziemlich unterirdisch...

Zur Zeit sieht es da ganz schlecht aus und in der Kernzielgruppe schlägt sich die Serie ja schon lange nicht so gut. Ich glaube man kann mit ziemlicher Sicherheit sagen das die Quoten wohl nie ein viel höheres Niveau erreichen werden. Falls The CW GG verlängert und auch sonst keine allzu schlechte Developmentseason hat, sehe ich für die Serie keine Zukunft.

Das die Serie gegen AI nicht so gut laufen würde war ja recht klar. Aber ansonsten konnte sie sich doch etwas durch ANTM verbessern. Schwer zu sagen wie es mit der Serie weitergeht...

Absetzungsgefärdert ist auch alle neuen NBC-Serie minus "Heroes". "Men in Trees", "What About Brian", sowie die neuen ABC-Comedies. Auch "The Class" läuft nicht so gut und nach dem Erfolg von "Rules of Engagement" (zumindest die erste Folge liefe Serie gut) sehe ich auch "The New Adventures of Old Christine" auf der Kippe. Das müsste es bei den Networks so ziemlich gewesen sein...

VM hat doch im Prinzip keine wirklich fortlaufende Story, sondern nur immer diese "Season-Mysteries" oder hat sich das mittlerweile geändert? Was muss man da groß abschließen?

Anderson has been on a roll with an acclaimed turn on FX's "The Shield" and roles in such movies as "Hustle & Flow," "The Departed" and the upcoming "Transformers."

- "Nurses," from 20th TV, is a comedic drama about the lives and loves of a team of nurses. Winnick will play what is considered the ensemble's central character, a young nurse with a wild past who comes to work at the hospital where her father is the chief. Kann man denn schon sagen welche Serien verlängert sind, oder gibts da noch nichts offizielles? Beispielsweise NCIS würde mich interessieren, die Serie läuft gut, aber die Verträge laufen nach der Season aus. Wurden die verlängert?
