Skins US ( MTV )
Verfasst: Sa 8. Jan 2011, 19:04
Joar, auch wenn ich wohl der einzige bin der es gucken wird, aber hier nun das Thread zur US Version der UK Erfolgsserie SKINS.

Das US Remake startet am 17. Januar 2011 auf MTV US.

CAST:

James Newman as Tony
Tony is the man every guy wants to be and every girl wants to be with — and he knows it. He's smart, charming and incredibly manipulative. He torments his clueless father and bullies his best friend Stanley. He says he loves his girlfriend Michelle but he also loves female attention too much to be faithful to her. Still, Tony is not entirely evil: he's protective of his little sister Eura and shares the occasional heart-to-heart chat with Stanley.

Rachel Thevenard as Michelle
As Tony's girlfriend, Michelle is Queen Bee to his Alpha Male. But instead of being a biotch about her place in the pecking order, Michelle is empathic, hard-working, and bright. She's also clear-eyed about her romantic triangle: she knows Stanley loves her more than cold Tony ever could but she loves Tony so she stays with him. Sigh

Sofia Black D'Elia as Tea
Remember the wacky indie comedy But I’m a Cheerleader about a teenage lesbian cheerleader sent to a reorientation camp to straighten her out? Tea rewrites that plot — she’s an out and proud lesbian cheerleader who brings Chris and Abbud along on her “big gay nights out” to show the boys how the girls get down. She’s cool, confident, knows what she wants, and how to get it.

Jesse Carere as Chris
Chris is the bad boy with a heart of gold — he'll sleep with his teacher but he'll also defend her against her mean ex-boyfriend. He's also the guy at the party who takes off his pants when asked to remove his shoes. But with an absent father and a checked-out mother, Chris is a little lost. right now.

Camille Cresencia-Mills as Daisy
If Skins was a boyband, Daisy would be the Smart One. She's a gifted musician, she cares about school, and she doesn’t buy whatever BS Tony is selling. Daisy's also a loyal friend: she worries about Stanley, supports her best friend Michelle, and has a soft spot for party boy Chris. But Daisy's got a a complicated home life; her father is a famous hip-hop artist and their relationship is ambivalent, at best.

Ron Mustafaa as Abbud
Abbud is like a mullet: business up front and party in the back. At home, he's a devout Muslim. With his friends, he’s a crazy sidekick who's into parties, drugs, and having as much premarital sex as he can get. Both parts of Abbud's double life are important to him but he has a tough time trying to balance the extremes.

Daniel Flaherty as Stanley
Poor Stanley just can’t catch a break. He’s insecure, bad at school, and in love with Michelle, his best friend’s girlfriend. Unfortunately, his best friend happens to be Tony, who exploits Stanley’s weaknesses for fun and profit. First, Tony arranges for crazypants Cadie to take Stanley’s virginity but she almost ODs instead. Then Tony makes Stanley get some weed for a party he wants to crash but when the deal goes bad, he leaves Stanley holding the bag, literally.

Britne Oldford as Cadie
A sweet-spirited crazy bitch, Cadie is the character most likely to inspire a hearty "oh, girl, no." She might be legitimately insane — her moods jump from clingy to cold — but her raging pill addition isn’t helping anything. As a favor to Michelle, Cadie agrees to take Stanley's V-card but downs a handful of pills and must be rushed to the hospital before doing the deed.

Eleanor Rose Zichy as Eura
Tony's little sister Eura is a lot like him: beautiful, magnetic and manipulative. What she doesn't have is his gift of gab: Eura is nearly mute. Her silence makes her mysterious — is she out of control or secretly running the show?
