His primary job is to keep Pierce in line and on task, whether that means grading midterms or laying out Pierce's wardrobe for the day. And Natalie Vincent (Kelly Rowan) is Daniel's best friend and every bit his intellectual equal. In addition, award-winning actor LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation) will play a recurring role as Paul Haley, a dean at the university and Pierce’s friend''.

Hört sich nach ''Sherlock Holmes (-Typ) meets Castle'' an. Nicht sonderlich einfallsreich.

Ehrlich gesagt hört sich der Twist mit der Schizophrenie interessant an. Werde definitiv mal reinschaun und das beste hoffen. Obs aber was wird... :roll:

Bei TNT besteht zumindest die Chance, dass es nicht komplett oberflächlich ist, aber nach Franklin & Bash kann man sich bei denen auch nicht mehr sicher sein.
Rachael Leigh Cook ist immer noch ein süßer Spatz und Eric McCormack fand ich in Trust Me nicht so schlecht.

Ich kann zumindest den RLC Part unterschreiben.
McCormack verbinde ich allerdings immer noch mit dieser grausigen Sitcom. Einschalten werde ich mal, aber ich fürchte TNT wird mich in Zukunft nur mit dem etwas abseitigeren Programm für die Sonntagsschiene (und Southland) überzeugen können. Die Crime-Procedurals, die ich getestet habe, waren mir zu sehr wie ein Mix aus USA und CBS-Versatzstücken.

Was war positiv?
- Eric McCormack spielt die Rolle des Schizos wirklich gut. Die Figur ist sympathisch und die crazyness nicht zu over the top.
- Rachael Leigh Cook ist immer noch ein cutie und sieht auch noch aus wie ein Teenie, auch ihre Figur war sympathisch
- Pope kann auch normal aussehen
- dass Pope eine Halluzination ist, habe ich nicht kommen sehen
- die Show ist eher CBS als USA Material

Was war negativ?
- dass Kelly Rowan eine Halluzination ist, war nach der Auflösung um Pope so was von klar
- der Fall war absolut unspannend
- die Serie kommt gut 4 Jahre zu spät, Life, The Mentalist und Lie To Me haben das alle schon besser gemacht. TNT selbst hatte mit Saving Grace schon etwas ähnliches, was origineller war.

Das war leider nichts :roll: Mehr muss ich eigentlich nicht sagen. Uninspiriert, alle Befürchtungen wurden erfüllt, nach dem Piloten ist für immer schluss

Die Serie ist ein Standard-Crime-Procedural mit einem ungewöhnlichen Partner, der eine besondere Fähigkeit hat. Eric McCormack ist natürlich ein toller Lead, aber der Rest konnte nicht sonderlich überzeugen. Es war nicht schlecht, aber solche Ermittlerserien gibt es genug.

Eigentlich hat die Serie zwei außergewöhnliche Ermittler, denn die Frau sprang einfach so aus dem zweiten Stock auf den Verdächtigen? :lol: Und man kann aphasiacs ernsthaft als Lügendetektoren verwenden?! :?

TNT has ordered a second season of Perception, its freshman drama starring Eric McCormack. Perception, produced by ABC Studios, currently ranks second behind TNT’s just launched Closer spinoff Major Crimes among basic cable’s top new scripted series this year. The network has ordered 13 episodes for season two, which is slated to air in 2013. “Perception has captured the imagination of TNT’s audience of armchair detectives with wonderfully intricate cases, emotionally charged situations and, of course, a terrific cast led by Eric McCormack,” said TNT’s head of programming Michael Wright.

Perception, which airs Mondays at 10 PM, is averaging 7 million viewers (Live + 7), with 1.8 million adults 18-49 and 2.3 million adults 25-54. It centers on Dr. Daniel Pierce (McCormack), an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. Rachael Leigh Cook stars as FBI agent Kate Moretti, Pierce’s former student who asks him to consult on her cases. The cast also includes Arjay Smith and Kelly Rowan. Für die Leute, die die Serie verfolgen: Gab es nennenswerte gute Folgen oder bliebs auf dem selben Niveau?
