I was not prepared for that. But god damn, it was so good. It was one of those movies that makes you feel a bit ill because it’s so intense and so overwhelming.
And you guys. EZRA MILLER. IS SO FUCKING CRAZY. He scares the hell out of me.
His character. Jesus Christ. I don’t even know how to…oh my god. If he was my son I would cry. I would cry. I would probably kill him or something. Like. Out of necessity. Y’know, that whole ‘kill one, save a thousand’ type deal.
AND TILDA SWINTON. SHE IS SO STUNNING. GOD DAMN.
We Need to Talk About Kevin played at 9:30 and was a polar opposite film to Butter. This is a serious drama and some intense stuff. Tilda Swinton and Ezra Miller really knock it out of the park. This could be Oscar stuff.
Tilda Swinton plays the role of a mother of a seemingly evil child/teenager. Is he evil by nature, or has she created him this way? I am a huge supporter of watching films with zero information beforehand, so I will not get into what he has done. I will just say he is very….Tom Riddle.
