Hi!

"Lost" stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry O'Quinn as Locke.

ANCHORWOMAN (FOX) - WWE alum Lauren Jones, not Amber Smith, will topline the partially scripted comedy, about a supermodel (Jones) who settles down in a southern Texas town and becomes an anchorwoman for Tyler's CBS-19 station. (Smith starred in a different incarnation.) The half-hour project will not have a "cast" outside of Jones as only her role will be scripted. CBS-19's co-anchors, crew and producers then will play "themselves" as they react to Jones' foibles. Production is set to begin in May for a mid-to-late summer premiere.

THE BIONIC WOMAN (NBC) - Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") is set to guest star on the drama pilot, a re-imagining of the 1970s series of the same name. She'll play Sarah, an evil bionic woman and nemesis to Michelle Ryan's character.

CASHMERE MAFIA (ABC) - Lourdes Benedicto is the latest "The Nine" alum to land pilot duty. She's signed onto the cast of the drama, about four successful female executives, friends since college, who rely on each other as they juggle the demands of career, family, hard choices and high ambitions in New York City. It's not clear which character she'll be playing.

CW NOW (The CW, New!) - The netlet has issued a pilot order for a potential new half-hour newsmagazine. Said project, an evolution of its current advertiser-sponsored "content wraps," will include features on fashion, music, upcoming movies and new technology. "Extra" executive producers Lisa Gregorisch and Mike Miller are shepherding the pilot, which is being targeted for the network's Sunday, 7:00/6:00c slot.

FOOTBALL WIVES (ABC) - Spencer Garrett ("Bobby") has landed a role on the drama pilot, about three ordinary women's lives as they are transformed by the celebrity and fortune that come with being married to sports superstars. No specifics about his character were released.

MR. & MRS. SMITH (ABC) - Julia Ormond ("Beach Girls") has scored a role on the drama pilot, a small screen take on the 2005 feature starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. She'll play Mother, a potentially recurring role, the boss of Jane Smith (Jordana Brewster).

PHENOMENON (Sci Fi, New!) - Newcomers Brad Follmer and Lauren Iungerich are developing a new drama at the cable channel about a team of scientists and medical experts - lead by a young female prodigy with a mysterious past - as they try to find explanations for phenomena that appear to defy the laws of physics and biology. The project, which is being eyed as a two-hour pilot, is set up at Fox 21 and Kiefer Sutherland's East Side Entertainment. Follmer and Iungerich are penning the script with Sutherland executive producing and East Side topper Maggie Murphy serving as a co-executive producer.

TIN MAN (Sci Fi) - Neal McDonough ("Medical Investigation"), Kathleen Robertson ("Hollywoodland") and Raoul Trujillo ("Apocalypto") have all been cast in the upcoming mini-series, about a young woman (Zooey Deschanel) plucked from her humdrum life and thrust into the Outer Zone, a world filled with wonder but oppressed by dark magic. McDonough and Trujillo will play The Tin Man (Cain) and The Cowardly Lion (Raw) archetypes, respectively, with Robertson as The Wicked Witch of the West analogue Azkadellia. Production on the project is set to begin this month in Vancouver for a December premiere.

Weitere Pilot- und Castingnews:
Jamie Kennedy has been tapped to star opposite Lee Majors in Fox's single-camera comedy pilot "Me & Lee?" while Orlando Jones is set to star in ABC's untitled cop comedy pilot.

Meanwhile, Miguel Ferrer and Chris Bowers have been tapped to co-star in NBC's drama pilot "The Bionic Woman," a reimagination of the 1970s series that was a spinoff of Majors' signature series, "The Six Million Dollar Man."

Additionally, Barry Bostwick, Kristy Wu and Andre Holland have joined ABC's untitled Ric Swartzlander comedy pilot, and Ben Savage is set as Todd in the untitled Sachs/Judah pilot.

"Me & Lee?" from Lionsgate, centers on a guy (Kennedy) with chronic back pain who gets more than he bargained for when he undergoes "bionic" back surgery in a secret lab run by actor Lee Majors (playing himself) in the basement of his Beverly Hills mansion. Majors built the lab after becoming obsessed with bionics after "Man" went off the air.

Kennedy next appears in the documentary "Heckler," which premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival, and in the comedy feature "Kickin' It Old Skool." He is repped by CAA, Principato-Young Entertainment and attorney Mitch Smelkinson. Majors is managed by Denny Bold.

The untitled cops project, from CBS Par TV and ABC TV, follows the eccentric characters in a police precinct. Jones (UTA, Management 360, attorneys PJ Shapiro and Cliff Gilbert-Lurie) will play a charming and naive rookie detective assigned to the team.

"Bionic," from NBC Uni TV, centers on Jamie Sommers (Michelle Ryan), a bright woman who is transformed into a technological wonder with $50 million worth of bionic components implanted in her body. Ferrer will play the ruthless leader of the secret government agency that turned Sommers into a bionic woman. He co-stars on NBC's veteran drama "Crossing Jordan," also from NBC Uni TV, and it's understood that if "Bionic" goes to series, he might juggle both roles. Bowers (Gersh, Vincent Cirrincione & Associates) will play Sommers' supportive boyfriend.

The untitled Sachs/Judah project, from ABC TV, revolves around co-workers at a top law firm. Savage will play a new attorney at the firm.

The untitled Swartzlander pilot, from ABC TV, is set in a chaotic Phoenix TV newsroom. Bostwick will play the news director.

"Chicken," from WBTV and Werner-Gold-Miller, centers on two brothers with opposite political views who are forced to live together after one (Norbert Leo Butz) suffers an accident that leaves him in a wheelchair. Ubach will play his physical therapist, on whom he has a crush. Ubach (Gersh, Margrit Polak Management) had a talent deal with WGM this season.

"Beast," from CBS Par TV and FremantleMedia, centers on a womanizing veterinarian (Steve Howey). Dean (Gersh, manager Jerry Silverhardt, attorney Jamie Mandelbaum) will play the vet's assistant. The casting stems from the actor's talent holding deal with Fox.

"Thick," from Sony TV and BBC Worldwide Prods., follows the workers in the office of a low-level congressman. "Mad TV" alumna Borstein will play the congressman's press secretary.

"Eight Days," from CBS Par TV and Hazy Mills, centers on four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York City. Chlumsky, who hit stardom as Macaulay Culkin's co-star in the 1991 "My Girl," will play one of them, a girl-next-door personal assistant to an egomaniacal Web site publisher.

Rob Heubel ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") will star in the comedy pilot "Zip," from NBC Universal TV. He'll play Tripp Stringer, a scam artist and family man.

Robert Hoffman has been added as a guest star on two pilots: As Josh on the single-camera untitled Liz Meriwether comedy, and as Gordon in the mostly improv entry "Revenge."

"The Jake Effect" bei Bravo).

Heather Locklear has closed a deal to play the title role in ABC's comedy pilot "See Jayne Run," while Jason Behr has landed the lead in Fox's drama pilot "Company Man," previously known as "NSA Innocent."

Additionally, Johann Urb and Brianna Brown have joined the CW comedy pilot "Dash 4 Cash."

"Jayne," from ABC TV Studio and Brillstein-Grey TV, centers on an accomplished alpha female (Locklear) working in the male-dominated world of investment banking who struggles to balance career and motherhood.

The project reunites Locklear with the network and the studio following her starring role in the ABC/ABC TV Studio comedy pilot "Women of a Certain Age" last year. Locklear, who most recently toplined Lifetime's original movie "Angels Fall," is repped by ICM and Brillstein-Grey.

"Man," from 20th Century Fox TV and Realtime Prods., centers on a family man (Behr) recruited by the National Security Agency as a spy within the defense contracting company he works for. Also cast in the pilot is Annie Wersching ("General Hospital") as his wife.

The pilot originally was scheduled to go into production two weeks ago with Stephen Moyer as the lead. Following a table read March 12, the production start date was pushed in order to rework and recast the lead (HR 3/13). The main character and his wife, a role that had not been cast, are now significantly younger. Other major tweaks also have been made to Bob Cochran and David Ehrman's original script by the project's executive producers, including Cochran, Joel Surnow and Howard Gordon.

"Roswell" alum Behr's (UTA, Robert Stein Management) upcoming features include "Skinwalkers," "Senseless" and "The Tattooist."

"Dash," from CBS Paramount Network TV and Grammnet Prods., is set behind the scenes of a racing TV reality show.

Urb (APA, Lena Roklin Management) will play a former frat boy and football jock who has partnered with his college roommate. Urb recurs on FX's "Dirt." Brown (Anonymous Content) will play a recently single pediatrician trying to recover from the demise of her long-term relationship.
TNTs Plan für Sommer (plus "The Closer"):
HEARTLAND One-hour drama series premiering in June

HEARTLAND is set in the high-tension world of the organ donors and features a recently divorced couple played by Treat Williams (Everwood) and Kari Matchett (Invasion) working both sides of the industry. As an organ-recovery coordinator, she convinces survivors to donate body parts of their recently departed loved ones; as a top organ-transplant surgeon, he harvests and implants the valuable organs into needy patients. The series is about second chances, for not only the patients being treated but also the doctor who helps put their lives together even when his own seems to be falling apart. HEARTLAND comes to TNT from Warner Bros. Television, with David Hollander writing the pilot and serving as executive producer.

SAVING GRACE One-hour drama series premiering in July

Academy Award winner Holly Hunter makes her television series debut in this edgy, unique drama as Grace Hanadarko, a tormented, fast-living Oklahoma City police detective who, despite having an excellent career in solving crimes, takes self-destruction to new heights. After seeing tremendous tragedy, both professionally and personally, Grace reaches a turning point one night and meets a rough-hewn angel (Leon Rippy of Deadwood) with a similar past who wants to help lead her back to the right path. Kenneth Johnson (The Shield), Bailey Chase (Las Vegas), Bokeem Woodbine (The Big Hit) and Laura San Giacomo (Just Shoot Me) co-star in this drama series from Fox Television Studios and creator Nancy Miller (Any Day Now), who wrote the pilot. She also serves as executive producer along with Gary A. Randall (A Little Thing Called Murder) and Artie Mandelburg (Leaving L.A., Mr. & Mrs. Smith), with Hunter serving as producer. The pilot was directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan (Battlestar Galactica, Invasion).

THE COMPANY Six-hour limited series premiering in August

Chris O'Donnell, Alfred Molina and Michael Keaton star in this gripping six-hour limited series based on The New York Times bestseller by Robert Littell. This dramatic, action-packed series traces the activities of the CIA during the Cold War. The plot follows agents imprisoned in double lives, fighting an elusive, formidable enemy while also engaging in an internecine battle within the CIA itself. As agents delve deeper and deeper into the game of espionage, some can keep their hearts and heads cold and removed. But one man is forever changed by the cost in human lives and his own inability to resist even the deadliest of dangers: falling in love with an enemy. THE COMPANY is directed by Mikael Salomon (Band of Brothers, TNT's Salem's Lot) from a script by Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). It comes to TNT from Sony Pictures Television, with Ridley Scott (Gladiator), Tony Scott (The Gathering Storm), John Calley (The Da Vinci Code), David Zucker (N3mbers) and David A. Rosemont (Into the West) serving as executive producers.

The untitled cop project, from CBS Paramount Network TV and ABC TV Studio, follows the eccentric characters in a police precinct.

Pilot- und Castingnews der letzte 2 Tage:
M.I.L.F. & COOKIES (The CW) - The netlet has postponed production on the comedy pilot, about a group of mostly divorced mothers who live in a large apartment complex as told from the point of view of a security guard who patrols the area. It's understood the decision was related to problems with casting. Thus far, only one role has been cast - Ryan Michelle Bathe ("Boston Legal") as Regina.

UNTITLED VICTOR FRESCO PROJECT (FOX) - Oscar nominee Tom Conti ("Reuben, Reuben") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about a 10-year-old who tries to navigate life in his high-achieving, stressed family with the unorthodox help of his slightly crazy grandfather. He'll play Nate, said grandfather, in the project.

CAVEMEN (ABC) - Relative newcomers Bill English and Kaitlin Doubleday have both joined the cast of the comedy pilot, which is based on the Geico cavemen commercials. Doubleday will play Kate, a wealthy socialite who's engaged to one of the cavemen. English then is set as Joel, an unspecified character. In addition, Bill Martin and Mike Schiff ("Grounded for Life") have come aboard to supervise the project, which was created by Joe Lawson.

DASH 4 CASH (The CW) - Serah D'Laine ("Wicked Wicked Games"), Maulik Pancholy ("30 Rock") and newcomer Bert Belasco have all joined the cast of the pilot, a comedic take on the behind-the-scenes of a reality competition series. D'Laine will play Meredith, who's detailed in the casting notice as: "20s, gorgeous and overly sweet. She's a good Christian girl who loves Jesus, charity work, stylish clothes and sexy outfits - not necessarily in that order. Though she appears harmless and well-meaning at first, Meredith quickly manipulates Pablo and Ronnie into helping her and Dottie solve the puzzles and advance in the race, even suggesting a "secret alliance" with the boys that serves only to benefit her team."

GIANTS OF RADIO (CBS) - Jordan Black ("Halfway Home"), Missi Pyle ("The Wedding Bells"), Joel McHale ("The Soup"), Jackie Tohn ("Veronica Mars"), Phil Hendrie ("Teachers"), Danny Pudi ("Gilmore Girls") and creator Jason Winer have been confirmed as cast members on the pilot, a workplace comedy set behind-the-scenes of a fictional radio syndication network. The group all play hosts on three of the network's shows - Pyle and Tohn play sisters who host a "Loveline"-esque radio show, Hendrie's character is a right-wing talk show host and Winer and Black's characters host of a sports show. (McHale and Pudi's roles weren't specified.) In addition, the pilot reportedly was shot on spec for $150,000 - the fee Winer earned when he sold the pitch to producer 20th Century Fox Television. Because of the unique development of the pilot, all of the actors aren't officially "cast" in the project and deals must be struck with the respective actors - some of whom are already tied to other projects (Pyle on FOX's "Bells" on McHale on the NBC pilot "The IT Crowd") - should it move forward to series. To that end, the studio recently signed co-star Black to a talent holding deal.

HELL ON EARTH (The CW) - Lamont Thompson ("The O.C.") and Dawnn Lewis ("A Different World") have both been cast in the comedy pilot, about a not-so-nice girl who gets hit by a bus and gets a second chance in life as a normal girl from the wrong side of the tracks. They'll play the girl's parents. In addition, Dennie Gordon ("30 Rock") has come aboard to direct the half-hour.

PRIVATE PRACTICE (A.K.A. UNTITLED GREY'S ANATOMY SPIN-OFF PROJECT) (ABC) - The "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off now reportedly is running under the working title of "Private Practice."

UNTITLED VICTOR FRESCO PROJECT (FOX) - "According to Jim" co-star Larry Joe Campbell has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about a 10-year-old who tries to navigate life in his high-achieving, stressed family with the unorthodox help of his slightly crazy grandfather, Nate (Tom Conti). He'll play Don Atlin, the boy's father. Campbell's involvement is in second position to his duties on "Jim."
FOX TO SPLIT 'DRIVE' SEASON, 'WAR' TO WRAP EARLY
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX is splitting "Drive's" season into two parts while "The War at Home" will close its second season on April 22, one week prior to the May sweeps period.

Both are the latest chapters in the network's ever growing book of scheduling changes.

Citing the show's "tight production schedule," FOX will wrap "Drive's" upcoming five-week/six-episode run on Monday, May 7 with the remaining installments of its initial 13-episode order then airing at a later date.

A split of some sort had been widely expected as the network's summer entry "On the Lot" is due to inherit the Monday, 8:00/7:00c hour starting May 28. (A repeat of "House" will air on May 14 at 8:00/7:00c while the first half of "24's" two-hour season finale will fill the slot on May 21.).

Meanwhile, "The War at Home" will close its sophomore season on Sunday, April 22 at a special time of 7:00/6:00c. That same night "King of the Hill" will slide back to the 7:30/6:30c half-hour with additional episodes of "The Simpsons" at 8:30/7:30c and (beginning April 29) "King of the Hill" at 7:00/6:00c.

And if that weren't confusing enough, starting June 10, the group will assume their summer time periods of "The War at Home" at 7:00/6:00c, "King of the Hill" at 7:30/6:30c, "The Simpsons" at 8:00/7:00c, "American Dad" at 8:30/7:30c, "Family Guy" at 9:00/8:00c and the return of "The Loop" at 9:30/8:30c.
